Dear Property Owner:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances,to wit:
VIOLATION
FBC Section 105 Permit 105.1 Required. Any owner or authorized agent who intends to
construct, enlarge, alter,repair, remove,demolish,or change the occupancy of a building or
structure,or to erect,install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove,convert or replace any required
impact resistant coverings, electrical,gas, mechanical or plumbing system,the installation of
which is regulated by this code,or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make
application to the Building Official and obtain the required permit.
Sec. 23-50. - Code enforcement action.
Failure to complete remedial actions required to bring the violation into compliance with this
chapter shall result in code enforcement action pursuant to chapter 2, article V,division 2 of the
Municipal Code of Ordinances as well as other remedies available under applicable law.
A deadline of February 1,2016 was set in writing and sent via Certified and First Class
Mail,on January 12,2016. This deadline of February 1,2016 has since past. As per our
meeting on January 31,2016 it was restated that permits and drawings were required to
meet compliance with the remedial actions set in the"Stop Work Order."
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by within ten(10) days of the
receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board,all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required,it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
