A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AWARDING BID #1617-14 FOR THE SIDEWALKS ON TRITON ROAD,
SABALO DRIVE AND CUTLASS DRIVE.
WHEREAS, on September 20, 2017, one bid was received and opened for City Bid
#1617-14 for the Sidewalks on Triton Road, Sabalo Drive and Cutlass Drive; and
WHEREAS, the bid received was from Hager Construction Company in the amount of
$159,715.41 (includes 10% contingency); and
WHEREAS, Hager Construction Company submitted all required documents in their bid
submittal; and
WHEREAS, the project consists of constructing sidewalk and curb ramps, reconstruction
of residential driveway aprons, and curb and gutter construction; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor will be given ninety (90) days to complete the project;
WHEREAS, the project will be fully funded in the FY17-18 budget. Account(s) and
project number(s) to be determined.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby awards Bid #1617-14 to Hager Construction
Company in the amount of $159,715.41 to construct the sidewalk on Triton Road, Sabalo Drive
and Cutlass Drive in accordance with the plans and bid specifications;
SECTION 2. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the
Contract with Hager Construction Company;
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
