JOHNS COUNTY FLORIDA RE: TO SUPPORT THE FLORIDA OPEN BEACHES ACT The City Commission of the City of St. Augustine Beach, St. Johns County, Florida, in regular meeting duly assembled on Monday, April 4, 2005, resolves as follows: WHEREAS, Florida's .beaches are one of the State's major recreational resources for both residents and visitors ;and ,: , i -,: WHEREAS, without access the beaches will be unavailable forthe public to use; and WHEREAS, public access to the beaches must be protected from obstructions which would hinder the public's right to enjoyment of the beach. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Commission of the City of St. Augustine Beach, St. Johns County, Florida, does hereby support the passage by the 2005 Florida Legislature of the Florida Open Beaches Act.
