02-20-75 v MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH CITY COMMISSION
HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 1975, AT 8:00 P . M.
PRESENT: William S. Howell, Mayor-Commissioner
L . W. Minton, Jr.
Robert R. Rosborough, II
F . W. Fogg
AND R. C. Vogel, City Manager
Oliver C. Ball, City Attorney
Gloria June Knight, City Clerk
ABSENT: Robert B. Cook, Sr. , Commissioner
The meeting was called to order by Mayor-Commissioner, Mr. Howell.
He stated that the purpose of the meeting was to approve or dis-
approve a planning program submitted by Milo Smith and Associates,
Inc .
Mr. Vogel stated that this particular program will cost $25,000.00
provided the state accepts the proposal as presented. Of that
amount, Atlantic Beach will pay 1/3 or $8, 500 .00 over a two year
period. This particular 701 program is something the city has
needed for a number of years , It is a master plan for the entire
city.
After discussion, Commissioner Fogg moved that the City of Atlantic
Beach adopt Alternative I plan proposed by Milo Smith & Associates .
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Minton and carried.
There being no further business Mayor Howell declared ,the meeting
adjourned.
