the decision of the Commission at the meeting of December 13, 1976 to have
Mr. Natier appear before the Commission on this date to show just cause
why his license should not be revoked. Chief Stucki reiterated that the
Police Depailment felt that the Beaches Sipping & Singing Society, which is
ostensibly operating as a private club, should fall in a category requiring
compliance with beverage law regulations, particularly with respect to closing
hours and other operations. Pictures of vending machines located in the
club were presented to the Commission for their information. Mayor Howell
recognized Mr. Joe Natier, President of the Society, who stated that to the
best of his knowledge, the club was still operating under the original concept
of a private club, and offered to make any changes the Commission felt necessary.
