Mrs. Eleanor Harvey, 385 1st Street spoke in support of a letter from Dr. Lynne S. After a lengthy discussion by all interested parties, the Commissioners agreed that the supporters of Miss Verner should have their Attorney, Mr. Joel Kauffman, contact Mr. Ball , the City Attorney, to confer on the subject and attempt to resolve the issue. The Mayor requested Mr. Ball to notify the City Manager on the following Thursday and advise if there is any reason why the order of the City Commission to remove the blocks should not be executed.
