MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH CITY COMMISSION
HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1974, AT 8: 00 P . M.

ABSENT: None
The meeting was called to order by Mayor-Commissioner, Mr. Howell ,
The invocation was given by Commissioner Minton, followed by the
pledge to the flag.
The minutes of the meeting of November 25, 1974 were approved as
written upon a motion by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner
Rosborough and carried.
Ordinance No. 10-74-10 Regulation of Beverage Hours - Public Hearing
Mayor Howell read Ordinance No. 10-74-10 regulating the hours for the
sale of alcololic and intoxicating beverages in the City of Atlantic
Beach, in full on third and final reading. Said ordinance was post-
ed in line with charter requirements. Mayor Howell then declared
the meeting in session for a public hearing, As no one appeared
either for or against said ordinance, Mayor Howell declared the
public hearing closed. Commissioner Minton moved for passage of
Ordinance No. 10-74-10 on third and final reading, seconded by
Commissioner Fogg and carried.
Approval for Transfer of License by Jax Liquors, Inc.
Jax Liquors, Ince requested approval to move their beverage license
from 1127 Atlantic Boulevard to 295 Royal Palms Drive. It was
moved by Commissioner Minton, seconded by Commissioner Rosborough
and carried that the transfer of the license be approved.
Resolution No. 74-11 New Account - Ocean State Bank
Mayor Howell presented Resolution No, 74-11 establishing a new
account at the Ocean State Bank for the purpose of depositing fed-
eral revenue sharing money. It was moved by Commissioner Cook,
seconded by Commissioner Fogg and carried that Resolution No . 74-11
be adopted. Copy of said resolution is attached hereto and made a
part hereof.

Ordinance No. 10-74-11 Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages
Mayor Howell read Ordinance No. 10-74-11 amending by adding thereto
Ordinance No. 10-61-8 by an ordinance entitled Alcoholic Beverages,
regulating the consumption of alcoholic beverages on vendors ' pre-
mises by title only. Said ordinance was presented in full and in
writing. It was moved by Commissioner Minton, seconded by Commissi-
oner Rosborough and carried that the rules be waived and that
Ordinance No. 10-74-11 be passed as an emergency on first reading
by title only.
Mayor Howell read Ordinance No. 10-74-11 amending by adding thereto
Ordinance No. 10-61-8 by an ordinance entitled Alcoholic Beverages,

mises on second reading by title only. Said ordinance was presented
in full and in writing. It was moved by Commissioner Minton, se-
conded by Commissioner Fogg and carried that the rules be waived
and that Ordinance No. 10-74-11 be passed as an emergency on second
reading by title only. Public Hearing to be held December 239 1974.

All monies received from Federal Revenue
Sharing shall be deposited in the Ocean
State Bank, Neptune Beach, Florida and
shall be know as the Atlantic Beach City
Federal Revenue Sharing Trust Fund 10-2-016-001.
