11-18-91 v MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING OF ATLANTIC BEACH CITY COMMISSION HELD
IN CITY HALL, 800 SEMINOLE ROAD, ATLANTIC BEACH, AT 7:30 PM ON NOVEMBER
18, 1991.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gulliford. Present, in
addition to the Mayor, were Commissioners Edwards, Fletcher, Tucker, and
Waters. Also present were City Manager Leinbach, City Attorney Jensen,
and Dorothy Strain, substituting for City Clerk King who was out of
town.
The meeting was called for the purpose of hearing a report from Mike
Burton of Burton and Associates, the city's financial advisors.
Mr. Burton said he had anticipated being able to present recommended
rate increases to generate revenues to meet the operation and
maintenance requirements of the water system and debt service on the
wastewater system without consideration of capital improvement programs.
He said he had found that morning a glitch in the data which he had
prepared for the city and he was not prepared to present his
recommendations at this time but would have those recommendations ready
for presentation to the City Commission at the first meeting in
December.
Following a lengthy discussion of the matter, the Mayor declared the
meeting adjourned.
