MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH
CITY COMMISSION HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON FRIDAY,
MARCH 8, 1963 AT 5: 00 P. M.

Absent: Chas. R. Moore
This meeting was called pursuant to the rules governing
special meetings.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor-Commissioner,
Mr. Isaacs.

The Commission met to further consider the purchase of cer-
tain lots in the Sa It air Subdivision from the San Pablo 4.0.
Landscape Co. , Inc. Mr. Isaacs read Resolution 63-8 in -t
full, following which Mr. Claiborne moved that the Resolu-
tion be adopted as read, seconded by Mr. Lawrence and having
been fully discussed and considered, the call vote was:
Aye: Claiborne, Johansen, Lawrence
Nay: Isaacs
Absent: Moore
Whereupon Mr. Isaacs declared the motion carried and said
Resolution 63-8 adopted. Copy of Resolution 63-8 is
attached to these minutes and made a part thereof.
There being no further business, Mr. Isaacs declared the
meeting adjourned.

RESOLUTION #63-8
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Atlantic Beach, Florida:
1. That the City do purchase from San Pablo Landscape
Co. , Inc. a Florida corporation, those certain lands situate
in said City known and described as:
Lots Twenty-seven (27) , to Thirty-six (36) , both inclu-
sive; Lots Fifty-three (53) to Sixty-two (62) , both
inclusive; Lots One Hundred Three (103) to One Hundred
Thirteen (113) , both inclusive; Lots One hundred Four-
teen
our-teen (114) to One Hundred Twenty-nine (129) , both in-
clusive; Lots One Hundred Thirty-three (133) to One
Hundred Thirty-nine (139) , both inclusive; Lot One
Hundred Forty-six (146) ; Lots One Hundred Forty-eight
(148) to One Hundred Fifty (150) , both inclusive; all
in SALTAIR SECTION TWO (2) , according to plat recorded
in Plat Book 10, page 15, of the current public records
of Duval County, Florida, (except those parts of Lots
Thirty-six (36) , Sixty-two (62) , One Hundred Twenty-
one (121) , One Hundred Thirty-three (133) , and One
Hundred Thirty-four (134) , conveyed to City of Atlantic
Beach by deed recorded in Official Record Book 1356,
page 456, of the Official Records of said Duval County;)
at and for the price of $33, 975. 00.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the City and place in the
hands of Frank Thompson, the City Attorney, the City ' s check
payable to the order of said San Pablo Landscape Co. , Inc. in
the sum of $33, 975. 00; and said City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed to deliver said check to said San Pablo Landscape Co. ,
Inc. upon receipt from it of a good and sufficient warranty deed
conveying said lands to said City, together with a title insurance
binder issued by the Title Trust Company of Florida, obligating
said Company to insure in the City the fee simple title to said
lands upon recordation of said deed, subject only to:
(a) Rights of parties in possession other than record
owner;
(b) Any unpaid mechanic 's or materialmen' s liens;
(c) Any state of facts an accurate survey might show;
(d) All applicable zoning ordinances and regulations;
(e) Taxes : County and City taxes for the year 1963;
(f) Covenants and restrictions recorded in Deed Book 827 ,
page 90, et seq. , current public records of said County.

3. Said City Attorney is hereby further directed to
record said deed immediately upon its delivery to him.
