SUBJECT: Response to Request For Information from JEA
In response to Mr. Scott Kelly, P.E.'s letter dated 3/25/98, we attach the following information:
1. Copies of the last 12 months Monthly Operating Reports for the
Buccaneer Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.
2. Number of meters by size and type (as provided by Joyce Lanier).
3. We are unable to provide the outstanding debt on the Buccaneer system since this

4. The only project with a firm estimated flow at this time is the Coast Guard Force
Main Project with 3000 GPD average daily flow and 5000 GPD peak flow.
Please note that the Phase II project for the Village of Mayport has not submitted
a permit to date; but I should be receiving this within the next week.
5. The only current Capital Improvements approved for the next five years are as
follows:
Buccaneer Water
- Building Improvements $ 16,500.00
- Paint the water tower $ 15,000.00
- Alarm System at WTP #3 and#4 $ 8,000.00
- Machinery and Equipment $ 74,500.00
- Backflow Program $ 6,000.00
- Vehicles $ 59,000.00

NOTE: For the Water Improvements - Water Plant No. 3 is located at 902
Assisi Lane and Water Plant No. 4 is located at 2848 Mayport
Road.
Buccaneer Sewer:
- Improvements $ 88,000.00
- Machinery and Equipment $ 71,500.00
- Vehicles $ 56,000.00
TOTAL $215,500.00
NOTE: The Buccaneer Sewer Improvements are mainly at the Wastewater
Treatment Plant (WWTP) located at 739 Wonderwood.
Additional Sewer Rehabilitation for$600,000, as noted in the attached map, will
be completed if bond monies are available.
The estimated cost to complete the expansion of the Buccaneer WWTP is
$1,900,000.
