AN ORDINANCE OF TFiE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE ATLANTIC BEACH CODE OF
ORDINANCES, ADiVIINISTRATION, ARTICLE V. BOARDS AND
COlYIlVIISSIONS, DIVISION 2. CODE ENFORCEIVIENT BOARD, BY
ADDING ALTERt~IATE NIEIVIBERS TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT
BOARD, AND PROVIDING AN EFFI±JCTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY Z'H.E C1TY COMMISSION ON BEI-IALF OF THE PEOPLE
'' OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
ST'C'Ti(?N 1. Sec. 2-141(a) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 2-141. Created; membership; terms.
(a) There is hereby created a code enforcement board of the city, which

and approved by the city commission. All heard members and ~ltern~te members of
the board shall be residents of the city and shall serve without compensation. B.nard
members and Plt .rn~t . memh rs may serve a maximum of three (3) consecutive
terms."
SFC'Ti(~N 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and
adoption.
