Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in
violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances,to wit:
VIOLATION(S)
Section 154 (g) Within all residential zoning districts, and also including any property containing a
residential use, household items, furniture and those items customarily intended for indoor use shall not
be displayed, maintained or permanently stored outdoors, or in any location on the lot where such items
are visible from adjacent properties. Discarded or unused household items shall be stored or properly
disposed of to avoid mold, rodent and insect infestations which may result in health risks and which also
create unsightly appearances that negatively affect neighborhoods. Such violations shall be corrected
immediately upon written order from the city.
IPMC 302.4 Weeds. All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or plant
growth in excess of twelve (12)inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall be defined as
all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided; however, this term shall
not include cultivated flowers and gardens.
This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by mowing and removing discarded
items stored in yard within five(5) days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice
must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The
Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations. Upon
completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

Code enforcement: I own several properties on Hibiscus Street, Atlantic Beach, I try to maintaine
my properties interior and exterior. The vacaryproperty at 997 Hibiscus Street is horrible.
The yard is uncut, grown over,junk on the outside. The back yard is over grown and full of
junk, which draws rodents and other stuff. No effort has been made by the owner to maintain the
exterior, it looks horrible. I make efforts to keep my properties clean inside and out, they should
too.
