AGENDA ITEM: Amend the Tree Planting Program to plant trees on private
property in Royal Palms '

BACKGROUND: ~ At the last Commission meeting, the City Commission
•approved designated streets for the Tree Planting Program.
After re-evaluating the streets and including future utilities
and sidewalks, staff recommends amending the program to
plant trees on private property in Royal Palms. This
amendment will allow staff to plant trees in the front yard
and within ten feet of the right-of--way on the following
streets:
- Royal Palms Drive
- Sargo Road
- Cutlass Drive
- Triton Road
- Skate Road
- Cavalla Road
- RedFin Drive
BUDGET: Amid-year budget modification will be applied to account
number 112-602G-537-34-00. The estimated cost for this
year's program is $15,000 and there's $30,000 in the fund
balance.
RECOMMENDATION: Amend the Tree Planting Program to plant trees on private
property in Royal Palms
