However, if only a toilet room is provided at grade level, such toilet rooms shall have a clear opening of not less than 29 inches (737 mm). The combination smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector shall be located within 10 feet at the exterior of bedroom doors. The master bedroom’s combination detector needs to be moved.
