Exh 4CAGENDA ITEM #4C JANUARY 26, 2004 CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH CITY COMMISSION MEETING STAFF REPORT AGENDA ITEM: Renewal of Annual Contract for Asphalt Repairs SUBMITTED BY: Donna Kaluznial~ Director of Public Utilities DATE: January 12, 2004 BACKGROUND: The City's current contract with Tom's Asphalt Repairs, Inc. for small asphalt paving repairs expires on February 29, 2004. We have contacted Mrs. Nancy Miller, President of Tom's Asphalt Repairs, Inc., and she has agreed to extend the contract for another yeaz at the current prices. The City has the option of extending the current contract for two (2) one (1) yeaz periods and this proposed extension will be the second. RECOMMENDATION: Extend the contract for one yeaz at the current prices. ATTACHMENTS: Letter signed by Nancy Miller, President of Tom's Asphalt Repairs, Inc. agreeing to the extension.
