i. From the Trinity/Exterior Research and Design, the engineering company who did the Evaluation
Report for Onduline North America, Inc., the manufacturer of the Corrugated Asphalt Roofing Systems,
the evaluation report says,under Limitations, 5.4,the minimum roof slope per manufacturer's
installation instructions is 3:12 (14 degrees). 5.5, The roof system evaluation herein pertains to above-
deck roof components. The roof framing submitted from the engineer shows open framing and the
corrugated panels installed on lx4 purlins at 24 inch on center.
2. Verify that the slope of the roof is 3:12 and that it will be installed on a roof deck. Roof decks and
structural member shall be in accordance with FBC requirements.
3. Resubmit verifications and any structural changes stamped and sealed by EOR. 2 copies.

As we understand,Ondura Roofing Material specified for this project does not meet a minimum
roof pitch as required by product.The builder has opted to use Single-Ply Thermal Poly Olefin
(TPO)roofing material with an OSB decking material in lieu of the I x4 purlins as specified on
the structural plan set. We have reviewed the loading and determined that this is acceptable for
the structural design,provided the following:
Minimum 15/32"32/16 span rated OSB or Plywood decking installed directly to 2x6
rafter framing w/long dimension perpendicular to supports w/ I Od ring shank nails at 6"
O.C.at panel edges and 12"O.C. in field.
Roof to have a positive slope for drainage provided by builder.
TPO material to be installed per manufacture's s—pec-i fica-ti-o'ns.
