RENAMING CZIUItCI-I ROAD TO DUT~'ON ISLAND ROAD, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WIIERLAS, it is the desire of the City Commission to rename Church Road to Dutton
Island Road, and
'WZIEREA5, the existing portion of Church Road on the cast side of Mayport Road would
be more appropriately known as Dutton Island Road East, and,
WkIEREA5, the existing portion of Church Road on the west side of Mayport Road would
be more appropriately known as Dutton Island Road West, and,
I3E IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMNIISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPY,E
OI+ TAE CITX OF ATLANTIC BEACH, IrLORID,A;
SECTION 1. Church Road is hereby xenamed Dutron Island Road, as follows:
(a) That portion of Dutton Island Road on the east side of Mayport Road shall
be known as "Dutton Island Road East", and
1 (a) That paztion of Dutton Island Road an the west side of Mayport Road shall
be known as "Dutton Island Road West".
~' SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its final passage
and adoption.
