RE: Extension of Church Road
Dear Mr. Miller;
The Mayor and Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach would like to express their appreciation
for your offer for the City of Jacksonville to pay one half of the cost to extend Church Road, up
to a maximum of$45,000, from it's present ending point at Mealy Street to connect with Dutton
Road. Your offer was reported to the City Commission at their regular meeting held on January
22, 2001.
You indicated in our last meeting that the next step would be for the Jacksonville General
Council's office to prepare a Interlocal Agreement between the two cities. As soon as this is
drafted, I will appreciate receiving a copy for review.
Thanks again for your help in moving this project ahead. It will undoubtedly support the public
use of recreation facilities on Dutton Island that both of our cities have worked so hard to make
available. I am,
Very truly yours,
J,iin Hanson
ity Manager
