AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORAJA,
RENAMING CFIURCH ROAD AND DUTTON ROAD TO DUTTON
ISLAND ROAD, AND PROVIDZIVG AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WIiEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission to rename Church Road and Dutton
Road to Dutton Island Road, and
S, the existing portion of Church Road on the east side of Mayport Road would
be more appropriately known as Dutton Island Road East, and,
VY)FIEREAS, the existing portions of Church Road and Dutton Road on the west side of
Mayport Road would be more appropriately known as Dutton Island Road West, and,
~E IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Church Road and Dutton Road are hereby renamed Dutton Island Road, as
follows:
(a) That portion of Dutton island Road on the east side of Mayport Road shall.
be known as "Dutton Island Road last", and
(a) That portion of Dutton Island Road on the west side of Mayport Road shall
be known as "Dutton Island Road West".
SECT7S}N 2. This Ordinance shall take effect iznmediately upon its final passage
and adoption.

PASSED by the City Commission on second and final reading this day of
2003.
