I recently returned to Atlantic Beach in October 2001 after living in Chicago for several years. Prior to living and working in the Windy City, I lived on Ocean Boulevard and ' 10`h Street for four years. Being active in the neighborhood and at the beach, produced a love of the area in me that compelled my return from the Midwest. R li i ea z ng that the City has much to offer in terms of education, athletics, commerce, and the arts, I would appreciate the opportunity to share my competencies on the Code Enforcement Commission to secure that our community remains a safe and desirable place to live and work. I am confident that my business acumen and community involvement experiences will serve me well on this Board. I know they are highly transferable to municipal government and am sure that I can make significant contributions to the team. Understanding that positions are limited, I trust that you are seeking self-directed leaders that can adjudicate matters fairly and impartially. In this role, I will be able to assist the Chair and other committee members injudiciously enforcing city ordinances, county codes and state statutes on the behalf of our residents, visitors, employees, business owners, customers and military personnel. Thus, I would appreciate the honor of serving on the Code Enforcement Board. Surely the City of Atlantic Beach values and pursues persistent, dedicated and committed professionals like myself. I look forward to hearing back from the group regarding my candidacy for a spot on the City of Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board. 1 AGENDA ITEM #8C JANUARY 27, 2003 Biography: Christopher M.
