To Whom It May Concern:
have examined an oak at this address. The tree has numerous wounds, voids, and
deep splits in the bark with exposed wood. There are several areas of fungal decay and
cankers in the trunk and bole. Both co -dominant stems were pruned simultaneously and
improperly and have developed decay. Although there is some leaf growth, these small
diameter branches are weakly attached and cannot sustain the energy requirements of the tree
and roots. The tree is diseased and in decline.
This is a dense residential area and the roots are impacted by development and
construction. The targets of tree failure are the house, people, and traffic. I am recommending
the removal of this tree.
