AGENDA ITEM: Authorize Staff to install fourteen 4" stainless steel
poles and cut the concrete at Bull Park to deter
skating at a cost of $7,600

BACKGROUND: Damage to Bull Park increased due to the number
of Skateboarders using the seating areas. To deter
skating and reduce the number of hours Staff is
using to chase off the Skaters, we recommend the
following:
• Front seating area: Install fourteen 4"
stainless steel poles.
• Rear seating area: Cut one-inch lines, one
half inch deep, and three feet apart.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Staffto install fourteen 4" stainless steel
poles and cut the concrete at Bull Park to deter
skating at a cost of $7,600
BUDGET: Authorization would require amid-year budget
adjustment.
