FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE THIRD FRIDAY OF
JANUARY AS ARBOR DAY IN THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH FROM THIS DAY FOKwARD.
WHEREAS, The Environmental Stewardship Committee recognizes the importance of
Atlantic beach's tree canopy and is committed to its protection; and
WHER-LAS, The Environmental Stewardship Com iuii= ciCatcd an Arbor Day
Subcommittee to over3ee iia 2018 Arbor Day Activities; and
W HEREAS, 1 he Arbor t)ay Subcommittee determined that the otticial Arbor "ay for the
City of Atlantic beach should be consistent with the State of 1, lorida each calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida iew8nizcs the third Friday of January as its official Arbor
Day annually.
