NOTIFICATION
MAILING ADDRESS CHANGE
MAY 1,2016
Dear Postal Customer:
A request has been submitted to the United States Postal Service by the City of Jacksonville (Resolution
2015-641-A) and the City of Atlantic Beach (Resolution 15-07) to change the last line of your mailing
address to reflect where you live. The request for the modification is due to the problematic issues that
have resulted from two municipalities sharing a ZIP Code. After careful consideration, the request has
been approved.
Effective May 1, 2016
The mailing last line for your address will change to:
Jacksonville, FL 32233
How your mail is addressed will be impacted as follows:
- The last line of your mailing address will change from Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 to Jacksonville, FL
32233.
- Your local Post Office will remain as the Atlantic Beach Post Office located at 1001 Mayport Road.
Please DO NOT file a Change of Address (COA) order to fulfill this address change. To make this
change as easy as possible for you, the USPS will ensure delivery of your mail with the old city name for a
period of one year. You will need to notify the people with whom you correspond and perhaps prepare
new return address labels or stationery.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact the Atlantic Beach Post
Office at 904-241-2026.
Sincerely,
Jean Lovejoy
