The original Tree Removal Permit Application for this project called for the removal of 4-16" palms and 2- 14" palms in
the right-of-way for a total of 92"of required mitigation.These have been removed and it looks like the other trees
remained as planned.The plan then called for the planting of 6 new palms in front of the garage and 2 oaks between the
garage and house. I only saw two new palms on the site when I went out.
Because the required mitigation has not been provided, I cannot sign off on the CO for the garage.
Let me know if more plantings are going to be done. If more is done, please provide a landscape plan showing
approximate location, size and type of trees planted.

The Public Works department has done a CO inspection on your project at 109 Beach Avenue. We have found the
following problem.
1. Driveways were not built according to plan.
The plans that were approved had a pervious pavers driveway going to the garage and showed the old existing driveway
being taken up and rebuilt with pervious pavers also. (Two separate driveways) As you know a circular driveway has
been built and everything is coquina shell.
City of Atlantic Beach Sec. 19-7 (f) states: "Maximum driveway width for circular drives shall be twelve (12) feet, and
circular drives shall only be permitted on lots having at least one hundred-foot frontage.
Please let us know what your plans are to correct this problem
