The structure was built in 1934 and is a two-story frame house with wood siding. 2. The foundation is original brick piers. 3. Them is a crawl space. 4. The floor system is the original wood beams and joists. 5. A complete interior renovation is in the process of design. 6. Interior floors and drywall have been removed to expose the structure to determine the amount of retrofit necessary. 7. Prior to removal of the sub-floor,there was significant floor slope noticeable while walking on the floors. 8, Floor settlement was measured to be over 1.8 inches along the southern portion of the house. In several areas,specifically under the kitchen and bathrooms,floorjoists have deteriorated and need to be repaired. 10. Some of the floor joists have been repaired. 11. To stabilize the foundation,we recommend installing 29 SmartJacks throughout the entire house to support the existing wood beams and the perimeter wall.
