condition. Staffbudgeted to replace the electrical components in order to avoid emergency
outages of critical plant equipment...
Bids were advertised, and sent to six venclors, Only one bid was received on May 21, 2003, from
Rexel C®nsolidated Electric Supply in the, amount of $33,390. All required dacuments were
submitted with the bid. Although Rexei Consolidated was the sole bidder, the amount was lower
than ~ previous quote. we had received from City. Electric. Supply in the amount of $35,000. .
BUDGET: A total of $60,000 was budgeted in-the Sewer Treatment Fund in account no. 410-
5508-635-6300. for this. project.
RECC}NIMEND~iTiGN: Authorize staffto purchase the Electrical Switchgear and Supplies for
Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1, Bid No. 0203-16 from Rexel Consolidated Electric Supply in
the amount of $33,390.-
