AGENDA ITEM: Street Sweeping

BACKGROUND: The City's current contract for street sweeping is with,~11 Seasons
Landscape Contractors, Inc. and this contract expires o:n July 31,
2003. We have contacted Ms. Holly W. Taylor, Owner, and she
has agreed to extend the contract for another year at the; current
prices. The City has the option of extending the current contract
for two 1-year periods, and this will be extension number two. This
is a requirement of our NPDES permit.
RECOMMENDATION: Extend the contract for one year at the current cost, which is
estimated at $18,048.
BUDGET: This is budgeted in the stormwater account number
470-0000-538-3400.
ATTACHMENTS: Letter signed by Holly W. Taylor, Owner, All Seasons Landscape
Contractors, Inc. agreeing to extend the cornract for one yeaz at the
current prices.

As you are aware, the contract with the City of Atlantic Beach for street sweeping in i~tlantic
Beach expires on July 31, 2003. We would like to extend the contract for another year at the
current prices, if this is acceptable to your company.
If acceptable, please sign below and return to me before June 23, 2003, so I can prepare a staff
report for the City Commission to accept the extension.
We look forward to recommending that we"continue our contract with your company.
