Alan and Mike;
Attached are copies of six proposals the City received last Friday for Special Magistrate. As we discussed previously, the
three of us will make up the team to interview and select a person to fill this position, subject to Commission approval.
We will need to interview some, if not all, of the candidates. I will ask Yvonne Calverley to set up the interviews.
First, a couple of questions I need your input on;
1. How much time do we need to allocate for each interview?
2. After reviewing these, do you have any thoughts about interviewing all of them or just a smaller group?
3. Mike; I have a copy of the questions asked by Jax Beach when they interviewed for their special magistrate in 2007
and am attaching a copy. Can you take the lead in amending this for our use? Our situation is different than theirs.
Thanks for your help.
Jim
