Ms. Becude;
We need a Special Magistrate only for dangerous dog hearings. We had six such hearings last year, but do not expect to
have that many in the future.
We do not have an office for a Special Magistrate and do not expect anyone working in this position to have regular
hours. The only time you would be needed is when we have to schedule a dangerous dog hearing. In those cases, we
would schedule a hearing that met your schedule. The hearings would most likely be conducted in our City Commission
Chambers. Our past Code Board meetings have been in the evenings.

In order to submit a proper bid, please advise: How often would you need the services of a special magistrate?
Is the City planning on having an office available to the appointee, expected hours. The purpose of the
questions is this: Do you want someone to be on site one day a week or two days a week; weekly, bi weekly,
monthly and /quarterly for hearings.
