Committee will expire on July 8, 2003:

also served on the Recreation Advisory Boazd since

Mazgaret Van de Guchte has served on this boazd since its inception in July 2002;
also served on the Cultural Arts Board since June 2001
Steve Piscitelli has served on this board since December 2002
James Stnrtchen has served on this board since Apri12003
I believe all four members are willing to continue serving if reappointed. However,
I have attached five applications that we had on file that you may wish to consider in the
event one of these members can no longer serve.

1 am interested in serving on the. City's Boards or Committees.
I have been a resident / owner at the Seapiace Condominium on Ocean Blvd for approximately 6 years. 1 am on the Board of
Directors. end had served as President for two years. I originally volunteered for the Board because I felt that not enough work
was being done to improve the Seaplace. I found that one person can make a difference.
Past community volunteer work (many years ago) has included baseball coach, soccer coach, and wrestling coach.
Although not employed at this time, my most resent job was as a Materials Management Consultant to the Mayo Clinic. My
.responsibilities were to manage the repair and maintenance of ell equipment at the Maya CBnic and St. Luke's Hospital. This
included selectlon of vendors, review of vendor work and charges, issueing purchase orders for repairs, and resolving any
maintenance or payment problems. If needed, I can fax a copy of my work resume.

My name is Christina Amokt Cross (formerly married name :Tanner )
I am a newly wed resident of Atlantic Beach, but grew up in Ortega, lived in Venefla for 20 years and have served on numerous
committees in Jacksonville. I was a board member and executive committee member of the Junior League of Jacksonville. I
chaired the first "Jacksonville Jublition" celebretion/fundraiser.
I also was presiderd of the St Mark's Episcopal Day School Parent Assoraation; have co-chaired book fair and served as the
"super Friday" program chair. Also served as a Board member and chair of the 20th .anniversary celebration.
1 have worked as a volunteer end paid volunteer at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, also chaired Cummer Garden
Week the second year k was held. 1 have been a docent at MOSH
So if the position on the Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Committee is still available for a willing capable volunteer, count me
in.
