1860 MAYPORT RD - LETTER FOR 18-110 Date : August 20, 2018 To: The City of Atlantic Beach From: Joseph T. Quest — Case # 18-110 Subject: 1860 Mayport Rd. AUG 3 0 2018 To whom this may concern, We have received a letter of violation of Sec. 24.154, 24-173. After discussions with the city officials on possible code violation remedies, we have decided to ask the tenant to vacate the property. ASAP Kettle Pavers will be relocating elsewhere. We couldn't justify installing a 6 foot tall wood fence 10 feet back from Mayport Rd property line and along the entire front of his business. Then the Officials explained we would also be required to remove the concrete in that 10 foot section and plant oak trees. Along the Robert street side we would be required to install only a four foot wood fence on the property line. I felt the city remedies were not at all esthetically pleasing along the Mayport Corridor, or user friendly. We ask that you remove us from the Code Enforcement Board on Sept 11, 2018.
