Dear Property Owner:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in
violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances,to wit:
VIOLATION(S)
Section 154 (g)Within all residential zoning districts,and also including any property containing a
residential use,household items, furniture and those items customarily intended for indoor use shall not
be displayed,maintained or permanently stored outdoors,or in any location on the lot where such items
are visible from adjacent properties. Discarded or unused household items shall be stored or properly
disposed of to avoid mold,rodent and insect infestations which may result in health risks and which also
create unsightly appearances that negatively affect neighborhoods. Such violations shall be corrected
immediately upon written order from the city.
IPMC 304.7 Roofs and drainage. The roof and flashing shall be sound,tight and not have defects that
admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior
portion of the structure. Roof drains,gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free
from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a public nuisance.
This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by repairing loose soffit, removing all
items stored in front yard,gas cans,tires,concrete,bins,ladder,buckets within ten(10) days of
the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice
must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The
Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations. Upon
completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
