Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in
violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances,to wit:
VIOLATION(S)
IPMC Sec. 304.6 Exterior walls. All exterior walls shall be free from holes, breaks, and loose or rotting
materials; and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to prevent
deterioration.
IPMC 304.7 Roofs and drainage. The roof and flashing shall be sound, tight and not have defects that
admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior
portion of the structure. Roof drains, gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free
from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a public nuisance
IMPC Sec 304.13. Window, skylight and door frames. Every window, skylight, door and frame shall be
kept in sound condition, good repair and weather tight.
This letter requests that the noted violation(s) be corrected by reair or replace siding, fascia and
soffits, secure garage door within thirty(30) days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice
must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The
Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations. Upon
completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

The purpose of my email is to report municipal code violations for the garage apartment structure at 46 15th Street,AB
32233. This structure resides at the SE corner of 15th Street and Beach Ave in AB.
The pictures attached demonstrate some but not all of the distressed and damaged areas on the structure including
holes in shingles, soffit and door surfaces. Wildlife is able to penetrate this structure due to the lack of maintenance and
existing damage. Plants are growing in crevices on the siding of this structure, on the north side of the building.
Kindly advise if AB code enforcement has begun the process of addressing code violations with the owner of this
property and if not,can a case be opened regarding these concerns I am bringing to your attention today?
