Background: Over the past year, Cut'ler's Lawn Maintenance has
..provided the City with Lawn Maintenance Services. They.
have demonstrated excellent professionalism and
knowledge in the azea of lawn maintenance and debris
pick-up.
..The City has spoken to Cut'ler's Lawn Service regarding an
extension for one yeaz at the current rates and they have.
agreed. As per bid #0001-25: "The. City reserves the right
to renew contracts for two additional one year periods
pending a mutual agreement between. the City, the vendor
and a review of the. contract performance byvendor for the
`previous year ".
' Cut'ler's Lawn Maintenance has agreed to renew the
current contract at the Lawn Maintenance price.
Maintenance. of Public Facilifles has been moved to the
Utilities Department and will be bid out; therefore; it is not
included in this renewal. Pazks and Recreation has been
pleased with the performance of this contract.
Recommendation: To extend the. Parks Lawn Maintenance Contract for one
additional yeaz atthe current vendor rates for City Pazk
areas.
Budget: Account number 001-6020-572-3400. (Park Maintenance-
Other Contractual Services) Lawn Maintenance Services
provided at a cost of $77,400.00 per year..

As you are awaze, the contract with the,City of Atlantic-Beach for Lawn Maintenance
Services expires on September 30, 2003. We would like to extend the contract for
another yeaz at current prices; if this is acceptable to your company. If acceptable, please
sign below and return to me before September 26, 2003, so I can prepare a staff report for
the-City Commission to accept the extension:
