operating as car repair shops that are not approved by the City of Atlantic Beach. I find it very bothersome !J!
that the city knowingly allows these businesses to operate. I mentioned "knowingly" because the "(
businesses operating have been brought up in 2 chamber meetings by myself and other citizens.
Atillio, owner of C&C Fisheries and nearly half of the business district, was mad that his tenants at 155
Levy Road could not get proper permitting for their business, while others in similar categories were
allowed to operate in the Mayport Corridor.This clearly shows the direct insubordination of The City of
Atlantic Beach's code and zoning department.The fact that these matters have not been addressed and
continue to be overlooked leads me to believe that certain property and business owners are shown
favoritism.
I formally request that The City of Atlantic Beach enforce the ordinances and require the following
businesses to close until matters have been addressed.This is not a matter that would merit any grace
period per the bylaws of Atlantic Beach and the fact that the business is in clear violation of over 100
zoning and code ordinances and laws.
