RESOLUTION NO. 03-13
WHEREAS, Sandy Forsyth has operated a business in the local community that
encourages an active lifestyle for young people, and
WHEREAS, Sandy Forsyth, recognizing the need to provide healthy and safe
activities for young people, has actively worked to provide such activities throu,~h~his
business partnership with Jacksonville Beach Elementary School and Fletcher High
School, and organizations such as the Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, Beaches
Habitat, and many others; and
WHEREAS, Allison Forsysth assists senior citizens by providing legal assistance
to Social Security recipients; and
WHEREAS, Sandy and Allison Forsyth strive to keep pace with governmental
and citizenry needs and made a generous donation to the construction of a skateboard
park in Atlantic Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Atlantic Beach City Commission
recognizes the civic and fmancial contributions of Sandy and Allison Forsyth to enrich
the lives of others and declares them to be Outstanding Citizens in Atlantic Beach, and
extends to them sincere thanks for their contributions to the City and citizens of Atlantic
Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be presented to
Sandy and Allison Forsyth from the City Commission and citizens of Atlantic Beach.
ADOPTED by the Atlantic Beach City Commission this day of October, 2003.
