A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH AUTHORIZING JONES
EDMUNDS TO PROCEED WITH THE 30% DESIGN OF THE AQUATIC GARDENS
STORMWATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AS DETAILED 11\\1 THE ATLANTIC BEACH
STORMWA TER MASTER PLAN UPDATE REPORT.
WHEREAS, The City of Atlantic Beach authorized Jones Edmunds to update the City's
Stormwater Plan; and
WHEREAS, the completed Updated Plan was presented to the City Commission in a Workshop
on November 19, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission recognized the Aquatic Gardens improvement as the top
priority; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to proceed with the improvements to the Aquatic
Gardens area; and
WHEREAS, Jones Edmunds is on the City's list of engineering firms and recently completed
the Stormwater Master Plan Update; and
WHEREAS, funding is available in Acct# 470-0000-538-6300 Neighborhood Improvements;
and
NOW THEREFORE, the City Commission of Atlantic Beach authorizes Jones Edmunds to
complete Task Authorization #8; Aquatic Drive Stormwater Improvements 30% RFQ 15-02
Professional Engineering Service Agreement.
