A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF $34,952 FROM THE PUBLIC UTILITIES FUND FOR THE
PROCUREMENT OF CONSUMPTIVE USE PERMIT RENEWAL SERVICES TO
BE PERFORMED BY I COLLINS ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES, LLC;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND
PURCHASE ORDERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH AND AS NECESSARY TO
EFFECTUATE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach has a 10 -year consumptive use permit for drinking water
from the St. Johns River Water Management District that expires June 10, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach desires to procure the services of J. Collins Engineering
Associates, LLC, to provide professional services associated with renewing the City of Atlantic Beach's
consumptive use permit for drinking water; and
WHEREAS, funds are included in the City of Atlantic Beach's Public Utilities Fund for
professional services such as those desired for this purpose.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach as
follows:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby authorizes the expenditure of $34,952 from the Public
Utilities Fund for the procurement of consumptive use permit renewal services to be performed by J.
Collins Engineering Associates, LLC.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contracts and such purchase
order(s) in accordance with and as necessary to effectuate the provisions of this Resolution.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
