ORDINANCE N0.45-01-16
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH, AMENDING CHAPTER 2Q TAXATION, AMENDING SECTION 20-59,
SCHEDULE OF FEES; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Section 20-59 of the Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances requires that City
Commission approval to be obtained before an occupational license can be issued to any applicant wishing
to operate a car wash in Atlantic Beach; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this requirement was established due to a water and sewer
moratorium; and
WHEREAS, the water and sewer moratorium no longer exists and the City Commission wishes to
eliminate the requirement for City Commission approval for car washes, provided such caz washes meet all
other requirements of the City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE
OF THE CTTY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA:
CHAPTER 20, TAXATION
ARTICLE III. OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAX
Section 1. Section 20-59; Schedule of Fees, is hereby amended to delete the requirement to obtain City
Commission approval to operate a caz wash in Atlantic Beach.

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its final. passage and adoption:
