Purchase of Reaacement SludEe Haulin¢ Truck; The City has ordered a replacement
for our main sludge hauling truck, which takes wastewater sludge to the Jacksonville
landfill. The current budget for a replacement is $93,000. The truck has been ordered off
state contract and will cost $87,666.93. The total list price for the truck is $148,833.00.
Because this was purchased off of the state contract at a substantial discount from the list
price, purchasing policies have been followed. No action. is necessazy by the City
Commnission.
Adele Graae Renovations; Architect Tat Chan i3 almost complete with the plans and
specifications for the Adele Crrage renovation. Final plans and specifications are
expected by mid January and request for bids will be issued. The architect's current
estimate of cost is $401,000 that includes a 5% contingency and the architectural fees for
the project. Several alternates to the specifications are being included so that the price
tag can remain in budget after bids aze opened. A set ofplans is on file with the building
.inspector and is available for public inspection.
