BACKGROUND: The City's current contract with Trim All Lawn Service, Inc., for
maintenance of the Atlantic Boulevazd Medians and Town Center
landscaping, expires on Januazy 31, 2002. We have contacted
Mr. Larry Ogilivie, Vice President/Operations of Trim All Lawn
Service, Inc., and he has agreed to extend the current contract for
another year at the current price of $25,800. ($2,150 per month) for
the medians, and $8,772 ($731 per month) for Town Center. The
City has the option of extending the current contract for two (2)
one (1) year periods, and this proposed extension will be the first.
RECOMMENDATION: Extend the contract for one year, at the current prices.
ATTACHMENTS: Letter signed by Larry Ogilivie, Vice President/Operations of
Trim All Lawn Service, Inc., agreeing to the extension.
BUDGET: Total Budget for Fiscal Year 10/1/01-9/30/02 is $26,000 for
Atlantic Boulevazd Medians in account 001-5002-541.34-00,
and $9,000 for Town Center Lawn Maintenance in account
001-5002-541.34-02.

As you aze aware, the contract with the City of Atlantic Beach for the Atlantic Boulevard
Medians and Town Center Landscape Maintenance expires on January 31, 2002. We would like
to extend the contract for another year at the current prices, if this is acceptable to your company.
If acceptable, please sign below and return to me before January 15, 2002, so I can prepaze a staff
report for the City Commission to accept the extension.
We look forwazd to recommending that we continue our contract with your company.
