Construction Solutions Inc. was requested to perform visual observations and inspections to the
in progress re-roofing project for the subject property. The Le Chateau Condominium is a three-
story building and detached garage with asphalt shingle roofing. As of Monday,October 15th,the
roofing was in progress. %Z" CDX plywood decking replaced any deteriorated existing sheathing
and all sheathing is being re-nailed at 6" O.C. with 8d 2%:" ringshank nails. New Tarco peel-and-
stick underlayment is being laid and lapped a minimum of 4" at the horizontal and 6" at vertical
joints. New aluminum drip edges installed are 2%"vertical and 3" horizontal and are being nailed
at 4" O.C. New GAF asphalt roof shingles are being nailed properly with a minimum of 6 nails
each. Upon review, the work performed was acceptably and in general conformance with
the design. Please refer to the included photographs below for clarity and conformance.
