1. ALL BOXES SHALL BE RECESSED UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. SURFACE MOUNTED BOXES MUST BE

INCHES BELOW GRADE. THE BOTTOM OF CONDUITS TRENCH SHALL BE GRADED SMOOTH, WHERE
ROCK AND SHARP EDGED MATERIAL ARE ENCOUNTERED, THE BOTTOM SHALL BE EXCAVATED FOR
