BACKGROUND: The Awards Comrnittee held the bid opening for bid
number 0102-12 Adele Gtage Cultural Project Wednesday,
Mazch 27, 2002 at 3:00 PM. Staff spoke with the low
bidder, Miller Construction and they indicated that they
could start immediately. The following bids were
submitted:
MIller Construction $363,106.04
Bekka Construction $405,000.00
Bush Construction $503,888.00
Bradley-Bowen Construction No bid
C.A.P. Contracting No bid
BUDGET: The City budgeted $400,000, $200,000 from City. funds
and $200,000 from donations.
RECOMMENDATION: Award Bid Number 0102-12 Adele Grage Cultural Project
to Miller Construction in the amount of $363,106.04.
