Subject: Roll-off construction dumpsters
Date: November 28, 2018
All construction roll-off dumpsters in the City of Atlantic Beach must be provided by a
City Approved Franchise Permit Holder. (See attached list of current permit holders)
All other roll-off containers or dumpsters are prohibited and must be removed within 24
hours of notice.
COAB Code of Ordinances, Article II, Franchise Agreements, Sections 16-12 through
16-32 require franchise permits for roll-off dumpsters, prohibits the use of other
dumpsters, and provides further details.
Where posted on a construction site, noted with time and date and signed by a City
Inspector, this memo shall constitute notice to remove a non-franchise dumpster within
24 hours of notice.
