The attached calculations are provided to support the pool addition at 1823 Atlantic Beach
Drive in the City of Atlantic Beach, FL. The calculations were performed utilizing the equations
in the city ordinance sec 24-66(b).
The referenced project site is currently has a house and driveway area. The calculations
utilized the house and driveway as the predevelopment condition.
The total lot area shown in the pre and post calculations was calculated from the table in the
survey. The predevelopment impervious area was calculated by adding the impervious as
shown on the survey provided by Boatwright Surveyors. The post developed impervious was
taken from the table provided on the drainage plan.
The runoff coefficient was provided based on the impervious values and associated
coefficients of sec 24-66(b) of the code.

• The Poolguard POOL ALARM, once installed in the pool, cannot be de-
activated; it is always in the alarm ready mode.
• Tamper Proof: Poolguard POOL ALARM will sound an alarm when
removed from the pool.
• Sleep mode:when you would like to use your pool, simply remove the
alarm from the pool and put it into sleep mode.
• Automatic Wake-up:The Poolguard Pool Alarm will automatically wake
up and run a system test when installed into the pool.
