This workshop session has been scheduled at the request of the City Commission and the Community Development Board in order to discuss issues related to proposed amendments to Chapter
24 of the City Code, which sets forth the Zoning and Subdivision Regulations for the City of Atlantic Beach. The primary topics to be discussed relate to existing and proposed language
and provisions within the Code, which address the treatment of certain Nonconforming Uses and Structures, and Nonconforming (substandard) Lots.

Comprehensive Plan direction related to Nonconforming Uses.
Legal status of Nonconforming Uses, Nonconforming Structures and Nonconforming Lots.

Staff update on anticipated schedule to complete Chapter 24 amendments.
