The purpose of this workshop is to take public comment, which will assist in identifying issues of importance to the community as related to the Comprehensive Plan. This workshop is
a first step in the State mandated Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) process intended to assess the effectiveness of a local government’s Comprehensive Plan.
Call to order.
Introductions.
Presentation by Guy Parola with the Regional Planning Council.
What is an EAR?
Process for creating and adopting the EAR.
What happens after the EAR is adopted and found to be “sufficient.”
Issues as identified to this point by City staff and the State agencies.
Public invited to comment and suggest other issues.
Next steps.
Adjournment work shop. (Regular meeting will convene following the workshop.)
