SUBJECT: City ger's Report
Emnlovee of the Year; Edie Mickey, Purchasing Agent in the City's Finance Department has
been named Employee of the Yeaz.
Edie is well regarded by employees in every City Department for her helpfulness in solving
purchasing problems, getting supplies quickly and "cutting through the red tape". She is always
been cheerful, particulazly when presented with last minute issues to resolve. She has handled
many purchasing projects herself and prepares the bids for many of the City's lazger projects and
purchases. For smaller purchases, she is often been known to make inquiries of vazious vendors
to fmd lower prices of items that other employees could not. She has saved the City a
wnsiderable bit of money with her efforts.
As Employee of the Yeaz, Edie Mickey will be recognized at a lunch, will receive two days off
with pay, a parking space designated for "Employee of the Yeaz", $500.00 and other recognition.
